At the forefront of Ghana’s national development movement is the founder of the non-profit Millennium Excellence Foundation, Ambassador Ashim Morton. As curator of the organization’s Excellence Awards, Ambassador Morton’s ‘show-and-tell’ approach to honoring those who’ve contributed the most to Ghana’s achievements in art, culture, sports, and social good is giving Ghanaians a renewed appreciation for their country.
In this conversation with Ambassador Morton, we learned about the history of the Excellence Awards and how Morton says he hopes the event will inspire more Ghanaians to become involved in contributing to and promoting the many accomplishments of their country.
