The letter calls the arrest of Kanu a, ‘knock of death’ to freedom of speech in Nigeria (Naij.com).
Accra-based incubator and accelerator, MEST announces the launch of a new Pan-African VC fund (TechCrunch). The new fund will for the first time, invest in companies outside the MEST ecosystem. “We see opportunities for a Pan-African fund providing early stage capital to the best and brightest entrepreneurs and companies in the sectors we’re most interested in, mainly digital businesses in e-commerce, edu-tech, digital media, fin-tech” – MEST Managing Director Neal Hansch (@nhansch)
